I'm very proud to announce another Benekkea discovers: Land of Ice. A French band... which could remember first works of Penitent, Profane Grace or something of Mortiis. Soft sad melodies of piano on keys stratification create a melancholic journey on a fantasy story around the glaciers of the Alps. A great electro-ice-ambient yes sometimes a little immature but on my opinion another sure success of Benekkea.

Bio for Land Of Ice :

Land Of Ice was born at the very beginning of 2006. Its music can best be
qualified as fantasy electro ambient, as I am very influenced by all the heroic
fantasy stories (mainly Tolkien). The name of the band has been chosen as I am
from the Alps, and I love the mountains. That's why the songs of Land Of Ice
are taking place in high snowy mountains, this is music meant to make the
listener travel...
The first demo of Land Of Ice was officialy released in January 2006, but some
songs were composed in 2005. It is actually an example of what Land Of Ice
sounded at its beginning (The Shining Kingdom and He Who Touched The Sky are
the very first songs of Land Of Ice). Before being released on Benekkea,
Prelude was available for free at Land Of Ice website, and also as 15-limited
printed handnumbered CD-Rs on demand.
